Colloidal silver has been shown to work in conjunction with the body’s immune system to make it stronger. Colloidal silver does not cause the body to produce additional killer cells but it strengthens those that are present.

Colloidal silver is a pure all-natural substance suspended in distilled water and consisting of microscopic clusters of silver. There is a vast difference between colloidal silver and silver nitrate. Colloidal silver (Ag) has been shown to be totally harmless as research studies have repeatedly shown. Silver nitrate (Ag NO3) is a silver salt which does cause Argyria. This information is not surprising since silver nitrate causes a multitude of problems in both humans and animals.

Silver has been used for thousands of years with no harmful side effects and present day use of colloidal silver shows no drug interaction with any other medications. Colloidal silver is sold in numerous other countries as an antibiotic since silver is the only known antibiotic that kills all harmful bacteria and viruses. Studies have been done in the United States for a century that show the anti-bacteria effects of colloidal silver. The University of California Los Angeles did a study by Larry C. Ford, M.D. in 1988 with silver solutions which proved to be antibacterial for concentrations of 105 organisms per ml. of streptococcus, pyogenes, Staphylococcus aureus, Neisseria gonorrhea, Gardnerella vaginalis, Salmonella typhi, and other enteric pathogens, and fungicidal for Candida albicans, Candida globate and M. furfur. Many many other such studies have been done over the past century proving the efficacious effects of colloidal silver as a disinfectant with antibiotic properties. Colloidal silver is sold in America as a supplement to enhance the immune system since it has been outlawed by the FDA and is illegal to sell it as an antibiotic.
